CALDWELL, NJ - On April 23, Caldwell Public Library is proud to be one of 2,300 bookstores and libraries across America participating in World Book Night (Shakespeare’s birthday). The library will join the 25,000 volunteers who will be giving away half a million free specially printed paperbacks to promote the joy of reading. Caldwell Library will be the local host location for other WBN givers. For 2014, the Library will be distributing free copies of The Tipping Point to members of the Caldwell Merchants Association. Members will meet to discuss the book at a June networking breakfast. WBN is giving away 30 titles which include a variety of popular recent and classic titles spanning many genres. The list includes titles for young adults plus titles in large print and Spanish. The titles were selected based on votes from librarians, booksellers and 2013 WBN givers. Visit the website on April 23 and download a free original book.
