WESTFIELD, NJ — Work to improve Westfield's Municipal Parking Lot #4 is set to begin on Monday, Sept. 16, leaving this lot with limited parking for the next several weeks. Improvements will include installation of new drainage structures, new granite block curbing, new landscaping, lighting improvements and new asphalt pavement surface.

“I am confident this project will enhance the safety and appearance of Parking Lot #4,” said Councilman Keith Loughlin, who serves as vice chair of the Public Safety, Transportation & Parking Committee. “I encourage all residents and shoppers to take advantage of the free parking offered at the South Avenue train station non-numbered spots every weekday after 12:00 p.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday.”
