PATERSON, NJ - A 31-year-old woman was arrested on charges she attempted to snatch someone's chain on Main Street in downtown Paterson Wednesday evening, police said.

The victim, a 34-year-old woman, told authorities that the suspect apprached her near 201 Main Street at about 6 pm and grabbed the chain around her neck. But the victim held onto the chain and refused to let it go until the suspect ran off, police said.
