SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - Due to popular demand, Jeff Mayerson of Wolves Basketball Academy will run seven additional seven special needs basketball clinics at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School, starting April 5th.
“I’ve gotten wonderful feedback from the parents of the first camp that we held at the Newmark School and felt that we couldn’t end with just one session,” said program founder Jeff Mayerson.
“It is very rewarding to get an email from a parent saying, ‘Our son felt comfortable and was able to be himself with other kids who share similar challenges’. That’s why we decided to put on more of these clinics,” Mayerson added.
The Wolves Basketball Academy features trained and experienced staff who run the drills and games for all children in a controlled, safe environment. The clinics are open to special needs children ages 8 to 15, who will be grouped by age. Dates of the clinics will be April 5, 12, and 26, and May 3, 10, 17, 31 from 12 Noon to 1:30 p.m. Each session has a $25 fee. Register online at wolvesbasketballacademy.com.
