Winterize Your Home: Learn How Saturday at Berkeley Heights Public Library

Terry Carruthers, owner of Creative Energy in Millington, NJ, will talk about how to winterize your home and make it more energy efficient at the Berkeley Heights Public Library on Saturday, January 14 at 2 p.m. He will discuss how a house reacts with its environment; heat loss; insulation; and duct issues. The talk will finish with an overview of programs available to pay for energy retrofits. Terry Carruthers has a Masters in Advanced Environmental and Energy Studies from the University of East London, U.K. and is a LEED Accredited Professional and a BPI Certified Building Analyst and Shell Professional. In 2012 he is teaching a global sustainability course at Centenary College in Hackettstown, NJ. This no-solicitation lecture is free and open to the public.
