Winter Coat Drive Under Way

Tuesday, October 22, 2013 • 3:01pm

The New Providence Police Department and PBA Local #132 are working collaboratively with the JERSEY CARES COAT DRIVE to collect winter coats. These coats will be distributed to those in need.

Anyone wishing to donate unwanted, “Gently Used” winter coats can drop them off to the New Providence Police Desk located in the New Providence Municipal Center between now and Jan. 15, 2014.

During our last drive we collected over 2,000 winter coats in our coat drive. Please help make this year's collection even better. At this special time of the year, please help the less fortunate, by donating your clean gently used winter coats to the Fourth Annual Winter Coat Drive.

(NO CLOTHING PLEASE)

A Winter Coat Collection site has been set up at New Providence Police Headquarters located in the Municipal Center at the corner of Elkwood Avenue.

Any questions in reference to this matter can be directed to Sergeant Justine Kennedy  (908) 665-1111.
