SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ -- For four weeks out of each calendar year, Willow Grove Church becomes a temporary home to young families experiencing homelessness. The church provides safe shelter, warm meals, and support and companionship to five families at a time under the guidance of Family Promise of Union County, the umbrella organization which combines Willow Grove Church’s efforts with 12 other hosting congregations across the County.
