Willow Grove Church Offers Worship in A New Key and Fall Hike
Friday, October 25, 2013 • 9:37am
Have you had a hard week and need a place to be renewed mind, body and spirit? Have you had a good week and are feeling grateful? Do you need encouragement and hope to face daily life? Then come this Sunday, Oct. 27, to Worship in a New Key at 10:00 am at Willow Grove Presbyterian Church, 1961 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains. Come as you are to our monthly contemporary worship service as we praise God through music, a message and prayer. Drums, guitar and keyboard along with our youth group member Nikki leading us in song will move your soul.
Pastor Cynthia's message will be about holding on for dear life when storms come into our lives. The story of Paul in the Bible reminds us that we can hang onto the broken pieces of our lives (he hung onto broken pieces of a ship!), use good anchors, and God will bring wholeness and hope.
After the children's message, children may stay in worship and use the activity bags or go to Sunday school classes. Nursery care for your children is also provided. Following worship all are invited to enjoy coffee, juice and snacks in Alexander Hall.
After refreshments children, youth and adults of all ages are invited to go with the Outdoor Adventure group for an afternoon hike up Mount Minsi in the Delaware Water Gap. Bring a lunch, snack, water and good walking shoes. The hikers will return to Willow Grove around 5:30 pm
