SAGE Eldercare is publishing a cookbook this spring which includes a collection of recipes compiled from clients, volunteers, supporters, and staff. This one-of-a-kind cookbook will contain more than 250 well-loved recipes including appetizers, breads, main entrees, side dishes, desserts, and more!
Funds raised from this project will help support SAGE’s fifteen programs and services, which benefit thousands of older adults, their caregivers and families throughout the year. The SAGE cookbook is a perfect gift for friends, a favorite teacher, neighbor or relative.
“Last fall, two local Girl Scouts approached us to help compile a cookbook so that they could earn their service badge for their Silver Award,” stated Dawn Knill, Director of Development and Public Relations for SAGE Eldercare. “We were thrilled with the idea since we had not put a cookbook together since 2007 and we have had a lot of requests to update or reprint the last cookbook. This presented a wonderful opportunity for the Girl Scouts and SAGE.”
