SCOTCH PLAINS-FANWOOD, NJ – While Scotch Plains and Fanwood do not host fireworks displays, several towns in the area do. Here's the schedule:
Thursday, July 3 (Postponements)
Roselle Park - Webster Avenue West - 9:00 p.m. POSTPONED (Moved to National Night Out, Tuesday August 5)
New Providence - South Street - 9:30 p.m. POSTPONED (Moved to Saturday, July 5)
Friday, July 4
Union - Biertuempfel Park - concert, 7:30 p.m.; fireworks, 9:00 p.m.
Clark - Arthur L. Johnson High School - 8:30 p.m.
Mountainside - Our Lady of Lourdes & Deerfield School - 8:30 p.m.
Cranford - Nomahegan Park - 9:00 p.m.
Springfield - Meisel Field - 9:00 p.m.
Rahway - Greenfield Park and Rahway River Park - 9:30 p.m.
The annual Macy's Fourth of July fireworks show is moving from the Hudson River to the East River near the Brooklyn Bridge. Some advice: Get there early, as people begin lining up along the South Street Seaport and on the Brooklyn side well in advance of the show's 9:00 p.m. start time on Friday.

Plainfield hosts fireworks at Cedarbrook Park on Saturday, July 5 at 8:30 p.m.
