Wharton Music Center French Horn Group Class Includes Free Instrument Rental

Wharton Music Center is offering an eight-week Introduction to French Horn group class beginning Tuesday, February 12 at 60 Locust Avenue in Berkeley Heights. The 45-minute introductory class is for students ages six to nine and includes a free instrument rental.

The class will be instructed by WMC faculty member Kathleen Ditmer. Ms. Ditmer has performed extensively in New York and New Jersey as well as throughout the United States at such venues as the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet, Long Island Philharmonic, Queens Symphony, Brooklyn Philharmonic, New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, the Nashville Symphony, Preoria Symphony, and New Haven Symphony among others.

Wharton Music Center, located at 60 Locust Avenue in Berkeley Heights, provides music, theater, and dance instruction, educational programs, and performances for children, teens, and adults. NJYS’s premiere orchestra, Youth Symphony, has performed in internationally-renowned concert halls such as Carnegie Hall in New York City and Musikverein in Vienna.
