Westfield Salon Says No To Cancer!

Westfield, NJ – Utopia Salon & Day Spa, located at 349 South Avenue East, Westfield, NJ, will host its 1st “Breast Cancer Awareness Cut-A-Thon” on October 28th, 2012 from 12 to 5pm. At Utopia Salon & Day Spa we have made a commitment to be a part of the fight to end cancer – all types of cancer. We are more than just a place where individuals come to enhance their natural beauty. For us, our success is also determined by our ability to impact people’s health and lives.
It is because of this that we have joined this fight and hope you can support us. Without the cures, an estimated 25 million women around the world will be diagnosed with breast cancer – and 10 million could die over the next 25 years. Every dollar we raise makes a difference:
• $100 could allow for one ultrasound for a high risk woman
• $250 could be used to cover five clinical breast exams
• $500 could cover the cost of 1 needle biopsy
• $1000 can cover the cost of 8 screenings or diagnostic mammograms.
In order to make this event a SUCCESS we need EVERYONE TO JOIN US in our FIGHT AGAINST CANCER. Be sure to stop by our salon for a FREE cut ($25 per cut minimum donation), and spend the afternoon with friends & family. We have planned lots of fun activities for adults & kids alike as we come together to SAY NO TO CANCER! Amazing baskets with great products and fun items will be given away to winners as door prizes.
In addition, we will have face painting for kids, music, delicious treats as well as arts & crafts and many wonderful vendors. Kiddie nail polish stations and pink hair extensions are also part of the fun happenings we have planned for everyone! Let’s come together and raise funds for SUSAN G.
