Westfield Historical Society Gets Ready for Apple Fest

Members of Westfield Boy Scout Troop 77 helped Vikranth Eleswarapu complete his Eagle Scout work on a new walking tour of the specimen trees at the Westfield Historical Society's Reeve House in time for the annual Apple Fest on Saturday, October 20.
Apple Fest is a fun-filled day at the Reeve House located at 314 Mountain Ave., Westfield. There are games for adults and children, pumpkin painting, face painting, tours of the house and grounds, barbershop music, Grandma Ginny's antique and curiosity sale, home baked food sales and more.
Special events this year include a celebration of 100 years of Girl Scouts, a one day exhibit of Charles Addams prints celebrating his 100th birthday, and the first annual Union County Fire Department Apple Pie Contest. Apple Fest runs Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m. with the rain date on Sunday, Oct. 21.
