WESTFIELD, NJ—The Westfield-area networking group Select Business Source—a chapter of BNI, the world’s largest networking organization—grew to 43 members and made over $1 million from referrals and direct business with each other since October, surpassing both of its major goals for the year. (Tom Cusmano, a Westfield licensee for The Alternative Press, is a member of the chapter.)
“I am so proud of every member of this group of ‘over achievers,’ as I like to call us, for reaching both our goal of 40 members and our $1 million dollar sales goal,” said Kristy Ball, chapter president and new business development manager of L&B Printing, Inc., of Scotch Plains. “These are top-of-their-field business owners and employees who work hard to be the best at their business and to learn about business networking. We all benefit from being a part of this fantastic business networking group and we look forward to reaching our goal for next term of 50-plus members and $2 million dollars in closed business.”
Of the 26 BNI groups in the region, Select Business Source ranks the highest in referrals for each other. Its members come from businesses all around the greater Westfield area, including Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Clark, Kenilworth, Cranford, Union and Berkeley Heights. Chapters are limited to one business from each profession.
Meetings are held each Thursday morning at 7 a.m. at RJW Fitness Facility, 2120 Lamberts Mill Road in Scotch Plains. For more information about the group and how to join, visit http://bninewjersey.com/nj-newark-bni-select-business-source/.
