WEST ORANGE, NJ - There's plenty to do with the family this weekend in West Orange, with something to appeal to everyone.

The community is invited to an Earth Hour Celebration at Eagle Rock Reservation on Saturday, March 23, from 8:30 - 9:30 pm.  Please arrive before the 8:30 start.

Witness an incredible image from the best vantage point in NJ as the lights go out all along the Manhattan skyline in support of Earth Hour. Non-essential lighting around the world will be turned off to raise awareness for climate change. If you can’t get to the reservation you can still participate by shutting your lights off from 8:30-9:30 PM.

On Sunday, March 24, from 11 am - 3pm, West Orange residents (ID required) can stop by the West Orange Environmental Center at 590 Mt. Pleasant Avenue and shred their documents.
