West Orange Resident to Star in New Original Musical Comedy "Elephant Stew"

WEST ORANGE, NJ - West Orange resident Dan Pryce will  star in the new original musical comedy, "Elephant Stew."  written and directed by Sylvain Chonigan. Playing the part of "Willy B. Sliperee," this production will be presented by Insane Actors Comedy Theatre. The show debuts April 25 and 26 at 8 p.m and April 27 at 2 p.m. at the RosenTheatre in the Wayne YMCA, 1 Pike Drive, in Wayne, NJ.

Pryce was an original member of the American Boys Chorus, an off-shoot of Newark Boys Chorus, and attended Kearny High School. He graduated from Seton Hall University and was a founding member of the improv group "Mental Floss" from 1986-1990.
 
Pryce performed stand-up comedy for 10 years on the East Coast and in Los Angeles where he resided for 19 years. He worked on various animation projects, wrote live-action short films, and worked as a voice-over artist and actor. Pryce co-wrote and co-starred in a pilot for a TV comedy series for USA Network and was trained in puppetry by a former member of the Muppets.

Recent credits include "A Christmas Carol" at West Hudson Arts and Theatre Company, where he played six parts, including "Bob Cratchit," "Fezziwig," and "Jacob Marley."
