WEST ORANGE, NJ - Erica DePalo, the West Orange High School Honors English teacher who was charged with first degree aggravated sexual assault, second degree sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child by the Essex County Prosecutor's office, has been released on bail.  Bail had been set by the Hon. Martin G. Cronin, Judge of the Superior Court, at $100,000.00. DePalo is charged with reportedly engaging in an illegal sexual relationship with one of her 15 year old students.

The investigation is continuing and no further information was provided by the Essex County Prosecutor's office. The Alternative Press will report officially released information as it is provided.
