WEST ORANGE, NJ - West Orange High School Senior Frank Bakirtzis signed a letter of intent this week wtih Sacred Heart University.

"Bakirtzis was a tremendous leader on and off the field here at West Orange High School," said John Jacob, head football coach. "His ability to lead and connect with so many different personalities while maintaining strong focus on his own goals and ambitions is what separates him from the average high school student-athlete. He has set a high standard for our tight ends of the future."

Frank is the third WOHS student-athlete (football) to be the recipient of a football scholarship this year and is now the 10th since 2003.
