Wednesday Deadline for Voter Registration for Oct. 16 Special Election

SCOTCH PLAINS/FANWOOD, NJ – In the lead up to various elections, there are deadlines for registration and Mail-In Ballots that everyone should be aware of, beginning with the Wednesday, September 25 deadline for registering to vote in the special New Jersey State election on October 16.
Other deadlines include:
WEDNESDAY, OCT 9 - Last day to apply by mail for a Mail-In Ballot for the October 16th Special General Election for U.S. Senate
TUESDAY, OCT 15 - Last day to register to vote for the November General Election
TUESDAY, OCT 29 - Last day to apply by mail for a Mail-In Ballot for the November General Election
The Municipal Clerk is in charge of the administration of the General Elections that are held in Fanwood and Scotch Plains. Voter registrations, verification of registration and voter registration cards can be obtained in the Clerk's office.
