WARREN, NJ - The Warren Township Education Foundation is about to be revived, with the goal of raising funds for township schools, Mayor Victor Sordillo announced at Thursday's Township Committee meeting.
"We are reinvigorating the Warren Township Education Foundation," Sordillo said at the meeting. He said the goal is to encourage the community to become more involved in fundraising for the local school system. At one time, the foundation hosted a fundraiser with 200 guests.
Warren Township Schools Superintendent Tami Crader said, "We have big dreams for what the foundation can do."
Crader said she is "thrilled" to be inheriting the education foundation and is "looking forward to the revitalization." For our kids to, "have the world at their fingertips." She said," They have what they need. I want them to have what they want."
