SAGE Eldercare, led by Ray Eriksen of New Providence, Deanna Butters from SAGE Eldercare in Summit, and Ed Capano of Westfield, pictured left to right, raised nearly $5,400 at the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s” held on Saturday, September 22 at Liberty State Park.  Walks are held throughout the United States primarily during the fall to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research through the Alzheimer’s Association.  Nearly 5.4 million individuals in this country live with Alzheimer’s disease, and it is the sixth leading cause of death, yet it is the only cause of death among the top ten in the US that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed.  To learn more, contact SAGE Eldercare at 908.273.5550 or visit www.sageeldercare.org.
