SPARTA, NJ-This is Operation Chillout’s 4th annual fundraiser and will be held at Vasa Park in Budd Lake on Saturday, August 9, 2014.  The event has excellent attendance and increases year after year.  This year, there will be at six bands, special guests, Military ceremonies, a Pipe and Drum band and buglers.  Gates open at 10:30a.m. and festivities begin at 11am.  It will wrap up at 6 p.m. and vendors must stay the full time.

The type of vendors being accepted are food (no hotdog carts); crafters, retail, businesses, nonprofits, and veteran service organizations.  The food vendors will have the best chance of being accepted if they do some type of ethnic dishes. This is a rain or shine event, with a motorcycle show and run, a car show and great music.

All of the proceeds of this event will go to our homeless and PTSD disabled vets.  There are over 70,000 vets living on the streets in this country.  Operation Chillout helps them survive on the street with gear and toiletries according to the season.  They also do their best to find them a safe and warm place to stay.

Spirit of the Arts Foundation is a working partner of Operation Chillout in the production of the event.

Please contact Sandy at 973-875-2068 or sandy@sotafoundation.org for an application to be a vendor or to donate your talent as an entertainer; to volunteer or for more info on the event.
