Amherst Place: Construction is scheduled to continue starting on Thursday, August 15, 2013 on Amherst Place, weather permitting. The contractor will be milling and paving the street during this next phase of construction. During milling, you will be allowed access to and from your driveway, but should expect delays. You may park on an adjacent street, for overnight parking only after alerting the police department. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. Local residents will be notified prior to paving, during which the street will be closed to all traffic. Please comply with the contractor’s instructions so that work can proceed as smoothly as possible.

Livingston Township’s Cost-Share Sidewalk Repair Program
The Township of Livingston has designated funding to administer our new Cost-Share Sidewalk Repair Program to help Livingston residents pay for essential repairs and improvements to their sidewalks.
Under the program, the Township will assist the Homeowner by paying 50% of the construction costs of new concrete sidewalk at his or her residence. The remaining 50% of the sidewalk construction costs will be billed to the Homeowner in annual payments over a period of five years. No interest is charged. There are no income limitations to the program; however, participants must own residential property with existing sidewalk in need of repair in the Township of Livingston and be current on their property taxes.
