UNICO's Annual Pig Roast Well Attended

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ - Plainfield’s’ UNICO held its annual Pig Roast at the Italian American Hall in Scotch Plains, last Friday. The event was once again a great success in raising funds for many of the philanthropic endeavors the chapter engages in during the year. The Pig Roast was well attended. There were more than 150 people participating in the evening’s festivities.
UNICO’s National President, Michael Veselka attended the event.
UNICO is the largest Italian American service organization in the United States. UNICO was founded in 1922 to fight discrimination and defamation and as a community service organization. The Plainfield UNICO Chapter was formed on May 18th, 1970.
