Spring may be Wednesday, but winter is refusing to leave quietly. By this afternoon, Winter Storm Ukko is supposed to work its way to the tri-state area. The forecast has been changing rapidly; what was first expected as 3" of snow tonight has been modified as of 9am to 1" of Snow, Rain, Freezing Rain and Sleet.

Monday, Ukko should be in our area by 4pm with Snow likely beginning at 5pm. The Snow should become definite by 6pm; by 7pm until 12am Snow will mix with Rain, Freezing Rain and Sleet. Total accumulation: 1"

Windy Gusts begin at 5pm with 25–28 mph, Strong breezes.
Driving conditions should be Foggy from 11pm until 10am Tuesday morning.

Tuesday - Snow, Rain, Freezing Rain and Sleet are definite until 8am.  Wind Gusts should be BREEZY: 23–24 mph, Fresh breeze. By 2am, we should have 2" of Snow, by 8am, 2.5" of Snow.

As long as the temperatures forecasted stay above freezing, it should all turn to Rain only by 8am which should definitely continue until 10am. Rain should likely continue then until 1pm, and then scattered showers until 4pm. 

From 8pm until midnight we should expect High Wind Gusts, WINDY: 25–26 mph, Strong breeze
