U.S. Naval Academy Offers Summer Programs

SUMMIT, NJ - The United States Naval Academy is offering summer programs for those students, eighth grade and up, interested in applying to and / or attending The Academy.

The U.S. Naval Academy Summer Programs include:
 
STEM
 
This program is designed to encourage rising 8th to 11th graders to pursue a course of study in engineering and technology throughout high school and college.  The USNA STEM program will be held at USNA on the following dates:
 
    June 2-7    Rising 8th and 9th Graders
    June 9-14    Rising 10th Graders
    June 16-20    Rising 11th Graders
 
Applications will be available on January 6, 2014 at www.usna.edu/admissions/stem
 
SUMMER SEMINAR
 
This is a one week program offered exclusively to students who have just completed their junior year in high school to experience all aspects of the Naval Academy including the academic program and midshipman life.  Sessions will be held on the following dates:
 
    May 31-June 5
    June 7-12
    June 14-19
