MONTCLAIR, NJ - On Wednesday, the Montclair Police Department arrested two suspects in connection with a report of shots fired on Mission Street. The two suspects, Ke’Shon Summers, 21, and Kevin Robinson, 24, both of Montclair, were both arrested and charged with Weapons Possession and Conspiracy.

Lt. David O'Dowd reported, "Officers responded to a report of shots fired on Mission Street. Upon arriving, Officers located spent shell casings mid-block on Mission Street. No victims or suspects could be located on scene."

Witnesses reported that a maroon-colored four-door vehicle had stopped on Mission Street and two black males had exited the vehicle.  One of those suspects then fired a handgun approximately six times in the direction of houses, as well as at a vehicle on Mission Street and then fled on foot.  It is not believed that the owner of the house or the vehicle were the intended targets.

O'Dowd continued, "There were no injuries reported in this incident."

Although there are no reported victims, investigation into the incident discovered that a vehicle and two homes had bullet holes.  Robinson was arrested on Thursday on Bloomfield Avenue and Summers was arrested on Friday in the area of Greenwood Avenue.  Both suspects are being held on $200,000 bail.
