Township Opens Shelter for Residents at West Orange High School

WEST ORANGE, NJ - The township will open a shelter in the Tarnoff Cafeteria at West Orange High School, located at located at 51 Conforti Avenue. at 11:00 am. The shelter is for West Orange residents only. Food and water will be provided. Residents must bring their own blankets, prescriptions, personal hygiene products, etc. Pets will be accommodated but must be kept leashed and restrained. If you are a resident of Essex County, the Essex County Codey Arena, located at 560 Northfield Avenue, is open as a county shelter. Accommodations for pets are available there as well.
