A Towamencin man, 62, accused of French-kissing a 9-year-old neighborhood boy waived his preliminary hearing in Lansdale District Court Thursday, and heads to county court on charges of felony unlawful contact with a minor, first-degree misdemeanor indecent assault on a minor, and misdemeanor corruption of a minor, per The Reporter.
John Douglas Stone, of Jefferson Court, allegedly kissed a boy on his mouth inside Stone's bedroom, police said. Stone is free on 10 percent of $50,000 bail.
On Nov. 21, 2013, the boy's mother told Towamencin Police that Stone had kissed her son, while reportedly drunk, two to three weeks prior, per reports. The mother confronted Stone, who allegedly admitted to kissing the boy, but did not know what he did, as he was drunk, per reports.
Police said the boy visited Stone's home to see his pet cat, but ended up on Stone's bed, where they watched cartoons. It was then that Stone allegedly kissed the boy full on the mouth, police said. The boy told Stone to get off him and the boy left.
