Tommy Hilcken Discusses Building Customer Rapport with Madison and Chatham Chambers of Commerce

CHATHAM, NJ - Tommy Hilcken discussed building rapport with customers with the members of the Madison and Chatham Chambers of Commerce at their monthly networking breakfast on Tuesday morning. Hilcken, a master storyteller and speaker, uses humor and personal stories to connect with his audiences and has been doing so for over 25 years.
Hilcken said that it's all about the customer and how you can serve the customer better. He noted that people want to do business with people they know and that in reality, everyone is a salesperson. In effect, business owners are selling people themselves and they need to keep this in mind when presenting themselves to others.
Karen Meyer, executive director of the Madison Chamber of Commerce, said, "Our members were thrilled with Tommy Hilcken's presentation. His message was delivered in a humorous and powerful way."
