In a joint effort to promote the importance of Arts Education for young children, Boiling Springs Savings Bank will be hosting an Art Show and reception for the Pre-School Students of The London Day School on Saturday March 3rd from 10AM to Noon.

The student artists range in age from 2 to 5 and will be displaying art made from various mediums.  “Seeing the world through the Art Work of a child is a wonderful experience.  When children are allowed to express themselves through art, the most amazing things are created”, said Danielle Lindner, Director- The London Day School.

Art is an integral part of the Pre-School experience. Children at The London Day School enjoy Art as part of their daily Enrichment. "During the process of making their own art, children discover, explore and experiment. Sometimes the process is simply feeling wet, slimy and sticky paint. At other times it can be seeing the mystery of colors blending or watching an image appear from a blob of paint or glue. Young children's art is process, not product oriented." Said Laura Browne, LDS Pre-School Teacher.

Student Art will be on display for the entire week preceding the Art Show and Reception.  “We are so excited to have the opportunity to showcase the Artwork of these young artists and know how proud they will be to view their work on display”said, Mark Newton, Branch Manager – Boiling Springs Savings Bank.

The public is invited as well to view the Art at Boiling Springs Savings Bank during the week or at the reception on Saturday.
