The Family of Agnes Mary O'Gara Egan, of Caldwell, has Announced her Passing

CALDWELL, NJ - After a long illness, Agnes Mary O'Gara Egan passed away on Friday at the age of 51. She died peacefully at her home in Caldwell, surrounded by her loving family. Agnes Mary's family and friends are deeply saddened by their loss and the community will mourn her absence. 
  
Agnes Mary grew up in West Orange where, 31 years ago, she fell in love with and married her husband, Jim Egan, who was originally from Boyle, Roscommon, Ireland. Together, the couple settled in Caldwell 25 years ago and raised their five sons: James, Brian, Brendan, Barry, and Andrew.
 
The life of Agnes Mary revolved around her family and she was also devoted to serving others through the Church community. She received her Director of Religious Education Certification from St. Elizabeth''s College and was employed by the Archdioceses of Newark through her work at St. Valentine''s Church in Bloomfield. For years, Agnes Mary served as a catechetical teacher at St. Aloysius Parish, Caldwell, and at the time of her death was the parish's Director of Religious Education.

    She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
