Oratory Prep is extremely honored and humbled to be able to present to our community, renowned author and one of the worlds leading speakers on peace, faith, and forgiveness: Immaculée Ilibagiza. Her story is an example of faith put into action. Immaculées life was transformed dramatically during the 1994 Rwandan genocide when she and seven other women spent 91 days huddled silently together in the cramped bathroom of a local pastors house. Immaculée entered the bathroom a vibrant, 115 pound university student with a loving family; she emerged weighing just 65 pounds to find that most of her family had been brutally murdered.
Come hear for yourself her amazing journey to overcome her anger, rage and diminishing faith. We invite you to this once-in-a-lifetime experience tonight, Tuesday, March 5th, 2013 at 7:30pm in the Oratory Gymnasium. After her presentation, Immaculée will be available for a book signing. Books and merchandise can be purchased that evening. Only cash and checks accepted. Please make checks payable to Immaculee Ilibagiza.
