The Connection is proud to announce their new Special Needs SummerFun Inclusion Camp, August 4 – 15 for boys and girls ages 5-10. Summer day camps at The Connection have been a tradition in the community for over 70 years- giving children the opportunity to build friendships, play outside, learn to swim, learn a new sport, and enjoy their favorite activities all summer.
The Connection believes that all children benefit from a diverse community. Their special needs summer program features a flexible schedule that allows for both small group activities and inclusion alongside typically developing campers. With the help of enhanced staffing to support your child’s needs, SummerFun offers all children the opportunity to experience new and interesting things every day.
Talented counselors lead campers through a fun filled day during the “SummerFun Camp” (8:30-1:00pm). Children enjoy daily activities such as swim lessons, yoga, science, dance, gymnastics, sports, arts, crafts and story time. Campers rotate through the 30,000 sq ft building, outdoor recreation and playground facilities, plus a cutting edge gymnastics gym and indoor pool for a well-rounded summer camp experience.
The Connection camps are a fantastic way to spend the summer, offering a truly rounded experience. From the fun and thrills of trying new activities, to the friendships made – it’s no wonder so many campers return year after year!
