The Aprons Struck Out!

Bonnie Cramer

Recently the contact from one of our commercial accounts required some flooring work at his home.  He thought there could be a conflict of interest if he used us personally. He said he didn't want to spend a lot money (We knew he was going to price shop, and we didn't see that it was a "conflict of interest" )

He contracted some folks with colorful aprons for his installation.  Unfortunately, those folks couldn't get the installation laid properly.  They returned to his home on three separate occasions to make repairs.  Their lack of success exhausted him, and he was ripping his hair out with issues they created.

So, it wasn't such a conflict after all when he contacted Cramers to correct the problem.  He said the apron folks gave him a great price, but he never thought the service would be so dreadful as he found himself dealing with people he didn't know who had been contracted by the apron folks.  Dealing with the subcontractors became a nightmare for him.

In his case, he suffered the consequences of not dealing with a company specialized in the flooring industry, his expectations weren't met and he ended up paying more than twice the amount for his flooring.

Cramers doesn't parcel their work out beyond the sale.  We're there from the time of the purchase to the installation and then some.

Our contact was greatful for the rescue work we did, but he said it would have been a whole lot easier had he dealt with Cramers right from the get go.

The man who said "You get what you pay for" knew exactly what he was talking about.
