The New Providence Recreation Dept.'s Sixth Grade Production Workshop presented "The Adventures of Rose Red (Snow White's Less-Famous Sister" this past weekend for family, friends, and the community at the borough stage, 360 Elkwood Ave.
This comedy by Sean Abley was directed by Theresa Turner, with set design and construction by Jennifer Huebner, sound by Rachel Turrisi, and lighting by Will Zagorski.
The show told the story of Rose Red, who is expected to get famous like her sister, Snow White, and her struggle to choose between doing what everyone else wants and being "just normal." The new Sixth Grade Production class was started this year by Ms. Turner to give her sixth grade acting students the opportunity to learn all aspects of putting on a full-length main stage production.
