Thank You for Supporting the 12th Annual Taste of Chatham

On behalf of the Chatham Education Foundation (CEF) Board of Trustees I want express our sincere gratitude for the incredible support for this year’s 12th annual Taste of Chatham.
The Taste of Chatham is our single largest fundraising event of the year. Proceeds from the event will go towards providing grants to support innovative and creative educational programs and special projects for the School District of the Chathams’ approximately 4,100 K-12 students enrolled in the District’s six public schools.
Since its inception in 1997, the CEF has distributed more than $600,000 to develop and support more than 250 educational programs and special projects and last year alone we distributed over $66,000. It is important to note that many of the programs we support, which continue to help Chatham remain on the cutting edge in education, would not otherwise have been funded through the traditional district budget.
I am especially grateful to the support of the many businesses in our community including: Lead Underwriter - Investors Savings Bank; Underwriters PipeWorks Services, Dr. Robert Rosen, DDS, Verizon Communications; Platinum Sponsor - Mary Weichert, Weichert Realtors; Gold Sponsors - Dr. Corina Atanase & Dr. Michael Hanson; Chatham Fire Prevention; John Hawk, The Hawk Agency; Lavallette Capital; Dr. and Mrs. Oleh Slupchynskyj, and Triple Win Sales; Silver Sponsors - Bella Luna, Chatham Wrestling Club, Debbie Woerner, Coldwell Banker, and Rodan and Fields Dermatologists, and Bronze Sponsors - Hilltop Community Bank – Madison; Jules Duffy Designs; Simonfay Landscape Services, and Suburban Chiropractic Center.
I also want to thank the participating restaurants for sharing their fine cuisine that is the hallmark of the Taste of Chatham, including: Brooklake Country Club; Fairmount Country Store; Lou Demeter’s Chatham Bakery; Mangia; Marie’s Italian Specialties; Pascarella Brothers and Whole Foods Catering.
Special thanks also goes to Main Street Wine Cellars for arranging for 30 different vendors who provided attendees with an amazing selection of fine wine, microbrew beer and scotch.
And thank you to those of you in the community, seniors citizens and parents alike, members of the Board of Education, Superintendent’s office, principals, and many teachers and staff who attended, thank you for your ongoing support of the CEF. Finally, thank you to the talented Chatham High School musicians for the evening's entertainment. All of you helped make this an unforgettable evening for all of us and we hope you feel the same way.
