Temple Sholom Hosts Summer Comedy Workshop for Teens

Temple Sholom of Scotch Plains-Fanwood invites local teens to “Hot and Shticky,” a series of informal improv and stand-up comedy workshops Wednesdays, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., led by comedian Alex Bernstein and friends.

“You'll have fun with friends and perform fast and funny feats of controlled comedy chaos,” said Bernstein. “Noobs and non-congregants are welcome! No previous experience required.”

Workshops meet at Temple Sholom, 74 S. Martine Ave. in Fanwood, NJ. (Use the side door on Marian Ave. marked “Temple Sholom.”)

Cost is $18 for the summer. Attend as many or as few sessions as you like. RSVP to abernstein1@comcast.net.

About Temple Sholom

Founded in 1913, Temple Sholom is a Reform Jewish Congregation led by Rabbi Joel N. Abraham and Cantor Darcie Sharlein. The Temple and its religious school is home to about 250 families from the greater Scotch Plains-Fanwood area.
