Teenager Charged With Drug Dealing in 2nd Ward

PATERSON, NJ - City narcotics detectives on Thursday arrested a 16-year-old boy and charged him with dealing 232 packets of heroin and 223 bags of crack, police said.
The youth, whose name was not released because of his age, was arrested at 4:47 pm near the corner of Main and Weiss streets, according to Capt. Troy Oswald, head of the narcotics squad.
Police say the teenager also had in his possession a loaded 38-calliber handgun.
The suspect was charged with posssession of the drugs, possession with intent to distribute them and possession with intent to distribute the drugs within 1,000 feet of School 8. He also faces charges involving the gun.
