PATERSON, NJ - A teacher's jealous husband was arrested at International High on Friday afternoon after he allegedly made threats against her life, authorities said.

The incident happened on a teachers' training when students were not at school.

The teacher, who is assigned to another school, was at International High for the training, according to officials. After getting a threatening phone call from her husband, the teacher alerted school officials who called the police, officials said.

As it turned out, police were waiting for the husband when he came to the school, authorities said.

Paterson police declined to release the man's name because his arrest involved domestic violence. Authorities would only identify him as a man who is in his 40s who lives in Passaic County, but not in Paterson. Police said he was charged with making terroristic threats, resisting arrest and possession of hollow-nosed bullets.

The man did not have a weapon in his possession when he was arrested at the school, police said.
