Tally for Livingston Voters from Election Day

LIVINGSTON, NJ – The Township of Livingston recently released the voter tally for Tuesday's elections.

How Livingston residents voted:

For Governor, Chris Christie came in with 4,566 (63.2 percent) votes, then Barbara Buono trailing behind with 2,562 (35.46 percent) votes. The remaining candidates: Kaplan, Sare, Araujo, Welzer, Schroeder and Boss all came in with less than .58 percent.

This reflects the overall voter trend of the state, as the NJ.com unofficial tally has Christie in with 1.2 million votes and Buono with less than 800,000. However, it does not reflect the trend for Essex County where Buono came in with 91,950 and Christie trailed with 54,891 votes.

For State Senate, Richard Codey came in with 3,739 (56.83 percent) of the votes followed by Lee Holtzman with 2,838 (43.14 percent) of the votes.

This reflects the voter trend for the district, as the NJ.com unofficial tally has Codey in the lead with 32,441 votes and Holtzman with 22,552 votes.

For Assembly 27th District, John McKeon came in with 3,308 (26.27%), followed by Mila Jacey with 3,156 (25.49%), Angelo Tedesco with 2,959 (23.90%) and Laura Ali with 2,952 (23.84%) of the votes.  

This reflects the overall voter trend for the district, as the NJ.com unofficial tally has McKeon at 28,901 and Jacey at 27,755 votes, leaving Tedesco and Ali trailing behind.

For Freeholder At-Large, Gerald Owens came in with 3,044 (50.91%) of the vote followed by Robert Pinckney with 2,931 (49.02%)

For Board of Education, Leslie Winograd came in with 2,835 (37.42%), followed by Art Altman with 2,532 (33.42%) and Ronnie Spring with 2,181 (28.79%) of the vote.
