From now through the third week in October, patrons of The South Street Creamery in Morristown, NJ, will get an extra treat with their treat—the opportunity to savor the visual delights created by lower school students at The Peck School.

Over the summer, second through fifth graders enrolled in one of Peck’s summer art classes, called “Make Your Own Masterpiece,” painted cupcakes on canvas using acrylic paints.  Art teacher Karen Dispenziere noted that her inspiration came from "...the recent boom in the cupcake business.  Cupcakes are trending!"

The show will run for three weeks in October. Due to limited space, the artwork will rotate—so, visit frequently to see the variety of “sPECKtacular sweets” painted by Peck students.

The artists are: Alec Bliemel, Marc BliemelEmma BosackiElla Budenbender, Alex CalderWill CalderGiancarlo CarpinelliKeely ComizioAlex Loschert, Kate Lowry, Johnny McEvoy, Janet PearceBen PolaskiGabby PossibleAnna Riley, and Kate Siedem.
