The Sussex County Association of REALTORS® is pleased to announce that a number of new members have fulfilled their new member orientation requirements and taken the oath to live by the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, currently celebrating its 100th year.  These new members include: Edward Basil, Lisa Bingham, Thomas Foley, Diane LaCagnina, Ross Oricchio, Kenneth MacFarlane, Bogumila Monroe, Kimberly Thompson, Joseph Krumpfer, Paul Masser, Stephen Parry, Robert Phillips, Alan Rosolen, and Matthew Olinski.

Completion of new member orientation is a condition of membership in the REALTOR® organization.  Participants learn many practical aspects of being in the profession, their rights, responsibilities and benefits of membership in addition to completing mandatory training on the National REALTOR® Code of Ethics and its enforcement.   They also learn about the proper usage of the REALTOR® trademarks which distinguish REALTORS® from mere real estate agents.  After completing the orientation course, all members are required to take a refresher course at least once in every four year period in order to maintain membership and continue to refer to themselves as REALTORS®.
Instructors for the Sussex County Association’s new member orientation program include Charlene Fiorita, Elizabeth Morgan and Karen Scheier.  These knowledgeable REALTORS® have a combined 80 years of experience.
The Sussex County Association of REALTORS® has been serving Sussex County’s REALTORS® since 1926, advocating for homeowner rights. The Association currently has a membership of over four hundred REALTORS® and affiliates.
