Short Hills, NJ - Susan P. Ascher, Founder, President & CEO of The Ascher Group, and Founder of The Sphere of Excellence in Communication™ was a presenter on August 14, 2012 at J.H. Cohn’s Professional Women’ Program (PWP), one of the first programs of its kind for a major regional accounting firm. Its focus is to recruit, retain, and advance women..

In 2012 and 2011, J. H. Cohn was named one of the "Best Accounting Firms for Women" by the American Society of Women Accountants and the American Woman's Society of Certified Public Accountants. This recognition was based on Firm initiatives, including those offered through PWP that keep women engaged and help prepare them to be tomorrow's business leaders. Programs include courses on or opportunities for business development, access to mentors early on in their careers through events such as partner roundtables, and other learning and development outlets.

The topic was “ EXECUTIVE PRESENCE  AND THE SEVEN UPS” : Dress Up, Show Up, Follow Up, Lighten Up, Listen Up,  Speak Up, and  Stand Up. Susan discussed the importance of differentiation in today’s highly competitive market.
