Sunday in the Park with Tony, and More Happenings for the Whole Family

MILLBURN and SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - Sunday finds the region jam-packed with activities for the family to enjoy:
The annual Miilburn Street Fair will take place on Millburn Avenue from 11 a,m, to 5 p.m. Craftsmen, artisons and food vendors will line the street and there will be plenty of live entertainment. The full story can be found here.
Greenwood Gardens in Short Hills is hosting a History and Harvest Celebration from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 274 Old Short Hills Road. There will be food, games and a "Great Apple Hunt," as well as pony rides and live entertainment. Learn more at GreenwoodGardens.org.
From 1 - 4 p.m., South Orange Village officials, non-profit organizations and neighbors will meet at the S.O. Public Library for the 30th annual Newcomers Day. Everyone is welcome, whether a new arrival or a long-time resident. Special events and a town-wide scavenger hunt are planned. See the full story here.
Also on Sunday is the Art Party in the Park, from 1 – 6 p.m. at the TAU sculpture site in Meadowland Park near the duck pond. This is South Orange's second annual art "happening" in honor of South Orange native and renowned sculptor Tony Smith. The event will include displays by local artists, galleries and arts organizations, and activities for the whole family. This event is presented by the Lennie Pierro Memorial Arts Foundation and the Village of South Orange Department of Recreation and Cultural Affairs, and will happen rain or shine.
