Don’t miss the opening production in the newly renovated high school auditorium - Rodgers and Hammerstein’s classic, Oklahoma! - the show that began the most successful songwriting partnership in Broadway history.
Forget baseball, hot dogs and apple pie. Nothing is more American than Oklahoma! Not only is it one of the landmarks of 20th century theatre with rousing production numbers and beautiful ballads, but it is a truthful, touching, and poignant drama about growing up and falling in love. It is also an all-American story about the pioneering, determined spirit of people who worked together to build a new land, a new state, and a new country.
