SUMMIT, NJ - Members of the Summit High School Theatre Arts program presented "The Boys Next Door" for a Community Access Unlimited staff training session.

Community Access Unlimited services mentally and emotionally challenged adults and teenagers in Northern New Jersey.  After attending the production of the play in 2011, Board member, Marguerite Modero, asked the actors if they would perform the play for the CAU Sensitiviy Awareness Training and Staff Appreciation Night.

"The Boys Next Door" centers around a group of emotionallly and mentally disabled men living together in a group home.  Through their struggles with relationships, family, jobs, and just daily challenges, we realize that these men want and need the same things we all do: love and acceptance.

Summit High School Senior Greg Archer appreciated reviving the play for CAU, and said, "This play taught me so much-that all people, no matter how gifted or challenged, are the same.  We have all developed more tolerance as a result of working on this story again."
