Summit H.S. Production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" Receives Nine Award Nominations

SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit High School Theatre Arts fall production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" has received nine Final nominations from the Montclair University Theatre Night Awards.

The competition recognizes excellence in non-musical New Jersey high school productions.

Out of 70 productions entering the competition, SHS's presentation of Shakespeare's classic tale  was one of six plays nominated for Best Overall Production.

Best Costumes - Katherine Winter
 
Best Lighting Design - Trevor Ashmun, SHS junior, lighting head
 
Best Scenic Design - Travis McHale and Ben Molnar
 
Best Direction - Anne Poyner
 
Best Actor - Jack LeGoff
 
Best Actress - Ulyana Volodin
 
Best Supporting Actress - Allison Scott
 
Best Classical Play

The Awards Ceremony will be held at Montclair State University May 12.
