CALDWELL, NJ – The Summit varsity field hockey team crushed opponent Mount St. Dominic 5-0 on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 22.  The Lady Hilltoppers (9-5-2) took on the Lady Lions (1-12-1) at the Lions home field.

The Lady Lions' goalie, Briana Marcantonio, kept her team in the game with an outstanding 21 saves.

Summit senior captain Abby Beier was enthusiastic about the win. “We had an awesome game,” she said.  “It was different playing on a grass field but it was great practice for our county finals at Kean University this Sunday.”

Summit’s record improves to 10-5-2 while Mount St. Dominic falls to 1-13-1.
