WESTFIELD, NJ - On Saturday, June 9th, fifth Grader Sarah Landriau, a Franklin school student, frantically waved her sign in front of the school on Prospect street in Westfield in an effort to bring in customers for a school fundraiser.

The car wash was made possible by the efforts of the Franklin School Student Council with help from their parents. 

Half of the money raised will benefit the Elliot Finkel Scholarship fund. The scholarship was created in memory of Kelly Finkel, a first grade English teacher who passed away last year. The remaining half will help a Franklin family who recently lost their home in a fire.
